Hawaii
Hawaii is one of the most spectacular places in the world. All six major islands; Oahu, Kauai, the Hawaii's Big Island, Molokai, Lanai and Maui are home to breathtaking beaches,
spectacular natural attractions, active volcanoes, the hula and the
aloha spirit though every island has its own, distinctive character
offering different activities, sights and adventures. However, you
can be sure you will have an unforgettable time regardless which
Hawaiian island you choose to spend you vacations on.
It is always a good time to visit Hawaii because the summer never ends there. An average temperature in the summer which lasts from April to November is about 75 to 80 F (24
to 31 C). Summer is a bit drier and warmer than the winter from
December to March with an average temperature of 68 to 80 F (20 to 27
C). Most US and international airlines will bring you to the Oahu
from where you can easily reach other islands.
Oahu, the third largest Hawaiian island is home to the Hawaii capital and is the most populated island. There you can find the most luxurious hotels and resorts which are only a
step away from the natural wonders such as the Leahi (Diamond Head)
and Nuuanu Pali. Oahu is also home to the famous Waikiki, the
legendary North Shore, Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve, the Iolani Palace
(the only royal palace in the United States), Pearl Harbor and many
other world-class attractions.
Kauai is the northernmost Hawaiian island marked by breathtaking natural beauty from the Waimea Canyon ("The Grand Canyon of the Pacific") to the spectacular Nepali
Coast and some of the most beautiful beaches you could imagine such
as the Poipu Beach Park. Kauai is a perfect destination for hiking,
snorkeling and other outdoor activities. Worth visiting are also
Kauai's charming towns which reflect the true aloha spirit.
Hawaii's Big Island - like the name suggests is the largest of all Hawaiian islands. Like other Hawaiian islands, the Big Island is primarily famous for its natural beauty
from beautiful black sand beaches to the snow-capped mountains. It is
also home to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park with one of the most
active volcanoes in the world.
Malokai is a perfect destination to both relax and enjoy outdoor activities. The island remains loyal to its tradition more than any other Hawaiian island. You can discover
the Kalaupapa National Historic Park by a mule ride, enjoy the sun on
the beautiful white sand Papohaku Beach, take a hike to the Halawa
Valley and visit the stone and coral fishponds along the southern
coast.
Lanai and Maui islands are famous for some of the most spectacular beaches in the world. Lanai offers a perfect getaway from the crowds and is home Keahiakawelo known as the
Garden of the Gods, a dramatic rock formation accessible by
four-wheel drive vehicle only. Maui is the second largest Hawaiian
island which besides dramatic natural beauty and some of the finest
beaches in the world also offers a spectacular whale watch in the
winter.
